Basically they summarised over 100 episodes of Wano into one and still manage to not miss any details, just proving the pacing till now was slow. Well at least got to see one of my favourite character Bartolomeo.

One-Piece is and for as long as I can remember always has been practically a snail's pace personified, so I can't see them ever actually choosing to get off that milk train, unless of course they were no longer able to be financially sustainable or something of the like. That being said though, I'd love to be proven wrong and be able to finish this anime before having another 20 years pass by 😳

ohh hell no. please not demon slayer "animation". i dont want one piece to become a CGI fest. i prefer the hand drawn stuff like in the OP movies and from animators like Shida. 1000x better.

I agree but CGI done right is a necessary evil to bring down animation cost.

Companies can't spend 4-5 times the budget of an animated movie for a single season of any anime that's going to be view for "free" or extremely cheap on tv and streaming.

Ofc the main point as noted by others below is to accept pauses between seasons instead of making awful fillers for months because you have catch up to the manga.
Also the obligatory "sadly actual japanese viewers don't give a shit about cgi vs hand drawn, most are more than happy to see full cgi stuff too".

CGI can be crappy as fuck just go and watch berserk and see what it has done to a masterpiece l don't know why the creators even bother by releasing it

I will continue to point about that the manga is not even a whole year ahead of the anime. If they started adapting more than one chapter per episode then we would have to deal with filler. I would say choose between a long break and filler but I don't think Toei is going to let One Piece stop again any time soon, so it's either somewhat slow or lots of filler. And it won't be just a dozen or so episodes of a filler arc. We'll see in all likelihood more than 50 episodes of filler as minimum, filling an entire year with filler when we could instead get more Wano. They can't up the pacing, regardless of how much people come by this site's comment section every week to complain about it.

yeah i get that also. as much as i dont like how slow the pacing is i understand. This episode though its pointless id rather u just not even give us an episode. episodes like this just gets my hopes up and excited, just to get a summary of what i previously watched, if your gonna do a summary what they should do is take this week off. Not sure exactly, but as a safe bet start from the equivalent number chapter. If you don't recognise what's displayed in the panels go back one and check if the previous chapter matches with this episode. Repeat as necessary to reach the appropriate point in the manga. I believe they roughly matched up from around the 1000 point so it won't take you long.

in my opinion as long as this anime doesn't go broke you're never going to see Luffy get one piece i think getting the one peace would be the end of the show unless thy can come up with some thing to keep it going after getting one piece. i feel by the time he get that one piece i will be long time die

Personally I really want them pause one piece another 2 or 3 year for decent plot progress. This just becomes too boring. And most of fandom just watching it because can't drop in midway.

No, it really isn't "just him", if you ask me they ought to release these in a similar way to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, in small seasons spaced enough apart to mitigate the need for filler. And as for watching it in a good mood, no matter how I'm feeling beforehand, when I click on an episode and see that it's a cheaply made recap that probably took about ten minutes to slap together, emceed by characters with two frames of animation, suddenly I feel like I'd be having loads more fun trying to wash an angry cobra.

Then it just some people, including you and him. There is people like the same stuff like you and him, there are people that like anime with fillers, there are people that like if the anime take a break, etc. People could have different opinion about it, there is no need to said which one the studio need to use. Just accept what they give, because our opinion is not equals everyone opinion.

I'll watch one piece whether the pacing is shit or not. But I just think that one piece doesn't deserve to be treated like this. It doesn't deserve to have shit pacing, because it deserves better. Imo fillers are better than bad pacing, because you can just skip the fillers, but you can't skip a bad paced episode. The anime is supposed to adapt the manga, but Toei does a shit job because they milk every moment as hard as they can. Toei wants to get every single drop. I understand why the pacing is shit, but I just think that there are better alternatives of fixing the problem.
